SKY VBS

This summer we had a great turn out for our Sky VBS program from Group Publishing where "Everything is possible with God!" - Mark 10:27.  The whole week we had a lot of fun being up in the clouds with all of our friends!

On day one the kids learned that NO MATTER WHO YOU ARE, TRUST GOD!

On day two the kids learned that NO MATTER HOW YOU FEEL, TRUST GOD!

On day three the kids learned that NO MATTER WHAT PEOPLE DO, TRUST GOD!

On day four the kids learned that NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS, TRUST GOD!

On day five the kids learned that NO MATTER WHERE YOU ARE, TRUST GOD!

Throughout the week we had a lot of fun learning all of these great daily Bible Points, and we also had a lot of fun in our Creation Station where the kids got to try out fun "science-y" experiments that helped to reinforce the daily Bible Point.

Each day we also got to hear more about the Bible Point through a short movie that starred one of our favorite characters "Chadder the Chipmunk!"

Every day we started with an opening and we ended with a closing where we got to see a skit, sing fun songs, and meet some pretty cool friends!

We all had a lot of fun, but while we were having fun we also got to help out other kids in another country in Africa! This week we collected offering gifts to help buy treated mosquito nets for kids just like us in the country of Mali! Through Operation Kid to Kid we raised enough money to buy 37 mosquito nets to send to Mali in an effort to help get rid of Malaria and other diseases spread by mosquitoes in Mali!

While the kids were having a great time and learning a lot, an adult class led by Pastor John and Pastor Terry learned more about what it means to be a Protestant Christian using the "Luther" movie as a discussion starter!

We all had a great time and we learned a lot! Thanks to all of our volunteers who made this week possible! Everything is possible with God!
