SENIOR YOUTH SERVANT EVENT MISSION TRIP 2013
This summer a group of our high school youth were able to attend a fun and spiritually filled week at Kure Beach July 21st-25th. We met up with another youth group from Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Hickory, NC to serve our brothers and sisters in Christ in the Kure Beach, Carolina Beach, Fort Fisher, and Wilmington areas.
Each day we had the opportunity to see the many faces of Christ in those that we worked with and served through different kinds of service. While on this trip we also engaged in and enjoyed time in small group settings, Bible studies, beach time, worship, and even surf lessons. We were blessed by our time to gather, serve and build relationships in Christian community! Here are a few pictures of our time together.
(**Please note that due to the fact that we were all thoroughly engaged in our service opportunities very few pictures were taken during service project times.**)
